I have a literal graveyard full of corded and cordless headsets, as well as phone amplifiers for corded desk phone headsets to compensate for weak corded headset desk phone output volume. I spend half my day on the phone on business calls, and have wished for the day when I could find a comfortable, clear sounding, strong volume, cordless headset that can hang up and pick up calls remotely from my landline desk phone (a GE - RCA 2-Line model 25202RE3). In a perfect world, Sennheiser would also offer a lighter, in-ear headset, in addition to this on-the-ear or over-the-head design (you get both). However, I am happy to use this headset as designed. My wearing preference, which I find most comfortable for extended wearing time (hours at a time), is the on-the-ear configuration using the smallest of the 3 included bendable over ear hooks.
The headset base with micro USB output port to standard USB PC input port cable, allows VOIP/soft phone use too! Simple, user friendly, headset base button allows for activation/connection or handset pickup/hangup with optional lifter, in addition to the headset button. Finally, no more complaints from callers saying they are having trouble hearing me! Uses DECT technology for clear and private wireless connection too. Highly recommended!!
